Kowa YF II 8×30

Kowa YF II Porro Prism Binoculars, 8X30.

Kowa has dedicated over half a century to perfecting the optical and mechanical features of its products, with a particular focus on cost reduction to offer customers excellent value for money. Technologies, some of which are patented, such as "Kowa Repelling" (KR) and 100% waterproofing, are also found in the entry-level Kowa binoculars. The YF II series represents the perfect balance between retro design, now improved over the previous YF version, and modern functionality, without sacrificing optical quality and viewing comfort. Kowa has taken a Porro prism optical configuration and enclosed it in a modern form, offering a unique and unprecedented experience at a very affordable price.

The central focusing wheel has been increased in both size and rigidity. The diopter adjustment is located under the right eyepiece.

Among the binoculars' many strengths are the rubber armor designed to protect the internal optics even during the most demanding use, as well as the body's surface texture, providing users with an excellent balance between comfort and grip. Also unique to the YF II series are the specially molded soft contours to improve ergonomics, ensuring the binoculars sit naturally in the hand during use.

All optical surfaces are fully multi-coated. These treatments ensure that light transmission, definition, color, brightness, and contrast are always at the highest levels.

The eyepieces and objectives are coated with Kowa Repelling (KR) technology, which blocks grease, fluid, and dirt from accumulating on the surface of each coated lens, making cleaning much easier and quicker. This feature is usually reserved for more expensive binoculars.

The equipment is completed by a case with shoulder strap attachment, lens covers and neoprene strap.

The YF II series is suitable for any field of use, from classic mountain or boat trips to birdwatching.
